Overview

Back in the February of 2023, watching a video of John King presenting election data using the Magic Wall, a little voice said Well, that's interesting. Why not here in Greece ?.

With that being said, IDS Tech was contacted in order to showcase a demo. Keep in mind that the first round of the national elections it was going to take place at May of 2023.

While the elections are a prestegious event for a national channel, meaning that there is no room for error and despite the fact that the time was limited without answers to serious questions , IDS Tech accepted the challenge with confidence.

The venture was a huge success, that the collaboration between IDS Tech, ERT and Palmos Analysis went far, with the Presenti being used to present the:

• First round of National Election (May 2023)
• Second round of National Election (June 2023)
• First and second round of Regional and Municipal Elections (October 2023)
• European Εlections (June 2024)

What we did

Presenti at its core consists of 3 different parts:

• The part respoonsible for gathering and storing the data from the data from the Ministry of Interior
• The part that serves the election data
• The interactive application for presenting the data

The application is designed for large touchscreens, offering users a powerful tool with a wide range of features that make data analysis easily demonstrable and accessible within just two touches.
